Rosalind Wyatt
Rosalind loves life, and wise words. When she came to us for coaching, she had lost her focus. She’d convinced herself that she was too soft for business. She feared that working to earn money could compromise her essential spirit. She dreamt of exhibiting at Mayfair galleries, but was too unsure of what she had to offer to approach them.
We helped Ros to believe in the value of what she created. We gave her the skills and the confidence to ask good money for the work she did, and to approach the sort of galleries she’d formerly been too timid to talk to.
Within a few months of our work together, she had secured an exhibition at the prestigious John Martin Gallery. This was a fantastic showpiece for her work, and led to an appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Start the Week. She went on to secure a contract to provide artwork for the Dorchester Hotel. And she charged them a price for one job which represented well over what she had earned in the previous two years.
As she said to us “For the past ten years I seem to have spent so much of my time apologising for the cost of my work, and yet deep down I know that I’m worth so much more. It wasn’t until I seriously undersold a piece of my work that I realised that I needed more confidence when pricing my artwork. You have given me that confidence and since our work together I have been able to finally charge what I’m worth. It’s paid dividends – literally!”
