Adam Clark and Tony Dines

Adam and Tony bring their extensive experience of managing individuals, teams and projects to their coaching and training work.

Adam Clark

I am fascinated by what makes people tick, and how to motivate teams.  One of my joys is seeing how those I train and coach develop new and confident habits of thinking, action and words.

I had a successful first career as a civil engineer, working in the water industry.  In this role I was responsible for teams charged with the delivery of projects, sometimes managing engineers many years my senior.  I worked throughout the UK and also in Australia, Algeria, Turkey and Kosovo.

My exceptional organisation skills, and abilities to inspire people to see what is possible, meant that I thrived in the 11 years I spent with the international consultancy Atkins.

Tony Dines

I am a consultant and coach with many years of varied and senior executive experience in organisational development, management, and coaching. The thrust of all my work has been to help individuals and organisations to thrive. This I have done with considerable success.

I have worked around the world and across many cultures developing organisations and individuals to a point where they are effective and efficient.

Originally qualified and experienced as a teacher, I then pursued a distinguished career first in the police service and for the last fifteen years as a senior manager and consultant in the international humanitarian and development sectors.

I have worked as a country director in Tanzania and Indonesia, and as Regional Director for north and east Africa, responsible for large-scale projects and teams of employees.

I was a co-founder and then Chair of Directors of a community-based organisation in central London offering services to the local community.  Through my networking and my close coaching relationship with the first Chief Executive, the organisation achieved and maintains a very high profile in central London.  I now serve as Chair of the Board of a property management company, responsible for 88 apartments and a large budget.

Those who have worked with me have paid tribute to the clarity of my thinking, my fairness and my support. My passion for people and the causes for which they work make me a uniquely talented trainer, manager and coach, enabling them to thrive personally and professionally, and to build their self-confidence and belief to be who they and their businesses truly have it in them to be.

I now use these skills to good effect to help others to be more fully and supremely themselves.

I have done many voluntary jobs alongside my paid employment.  I worked as a Games Maker at the London 2012 Olympics, on a community project helping refugees and at a drop-in centre for people with AIDS and HIV.  I am currently the head steward at St Martin-in-the-Fields where I train and support the 60 volunteer stewards who welcome people and make sure the church services all run smoothly.
