Cupcake Mum
Cupcake Mum
Cupcake is a highly successful spa and private members club catering primarily for the needs of pregnant women and women with young children.
We were brought in to improve communication between the various parts of the organisation. Specifically, Cupcake wanted to improve communication between the clubs, and between the spa, cafe and crèche teams within the clubs.
We ran a workshop that allowed all the staff to identify practical, simple things they could do to improve the effectiveness of their work together. We then followed up with the staff to find out what the impact of these actions had been on the organisation.
It was heartening to hear how much these simple measures, that the staff came up with themselves, had changed things for the better. As a result of our intervention, the whole team felt more energised and motivated to help make Cupcake even more of a success, and a fantastic place in which to work.
Karen Hastings, the entrepreneur behind Cupcake, said the following of Look Them in the Eye’s work with her team:
“Working with Look Them in the Eye has been great – both in terms of improving team morale and inspiring them to own their goals. Their enthusiasm and commitment to pushing the team forward has been invaluable!”
